So…you’re probably wondering who is doing all this eating, loving, jumping (not so much anymore)…and a few other things in between.
I am Jo, a full-time working mum learning to juggle life, love and good food while avoiding major disasters. Born and bred in London, England, I moved to Israel six years ago, and now live a grudgingly suburban life in Modi’in with My Men (gorgeous husband and son.)
I love traveling. I love food. I love sea shells, speaking foreign langauges, cooking, eating, dancing, and Aerobics (although haven’t quite got back to it since having a baby). I love living in Israel – but sometimes it drives me CRAZY.
I’m trying to live my life the best way possible – to be happy, to be good to people, to achieve my goals. It’s a work in progress..somewhat like this blog…

love it love it love it! I’m so happy you did this!!!!
Jo, amazing..really (by that I mean your whole blog). I am definitely gonna try those mocha bars sometime soon. Yum!

Thank you for mentioning Israeli Kitchen among the 10 top Jewish food blogs! I noticed you were interested in the 2nd food blogger’s meeting – too late
. BUT there will be a third in April. Please contact me for details: mimi@israelikitchen.com.

Hi. I came across your post via facebook – and liked your blog. I, too , almost started a food/orchid blog yesterday. I’m an Israeli born, living in Miami FL and London UK – with my husband…. so we have some in common. I like you postings… and now ready to do mine. I am not “bull in the china shop” and rather fast and “perfect” in the kitchen. love to cook, eat, entertaine ( and I do it in 3 cusines: US, UK and Israeli) and I am an avid grower of orchids in miami and some in london. thanks for the inspiration. I’n ready to start!!
Hello…Love your blog and love that you live in Israel…My most favorite place on earth!
Would you be interested in listing my book…America’s Great Delis…Recipes and Traditions from Coast to Coast
on your site? I will furnish you with the photo and any information you would like…or a link…
my website is
http://www.sheryllbellman.com
and you can see what I write about.
I think it would be a wonderful addition to your site and the history and origins of the Jewish foods are so informative.
Thank you,
